Liz & Jon want you to feel at home in their comfortable, homely,
family-run bed and breakfast.
All rooms have television and tea/coffe making facilities and local
information for your benefit. (If you are continuing your tour
accommodation can be found for you on The Somme if required).
The Westhoek Region of Belgium is ideal for walking and cycling.
Cherry Blossom is the ideal place to stop on the cycling route. There
are many places to explore; St Sixtus Abbey Brewery (15-20mins drive
or 30-40mins cycle), a V1 rocket site, Otter sanctuary (about 30 mins
drive) with lots of walks and cycle paths.

The Great War
Being situated in the Ypres Salient (right by the resting place of Noel Chavasse
Double VC), we are happy to arrange tours of the Ypres Salient, The Somme, Vimy
Ridge and Arras on your behalf. Research services are also available.
Remembrance ceremonies are held at 8pm every night at the Menin Gate in Ypres
and the first Friday of each month at 7.00pm at (Plugstreet) Ploegsteert

Refreshment Service
Full English breakfasts or breakfast snacks (i.e. bacon/sausage butty) are
available to non-residents each day except Wednesdays. Available 07.30 to
11.00am bookings only please (up to 20 persons).
English teas are served each day except Wednesdays 2.30 to 6.00pm bookings only
please (up to 20 persons). |
